Professional Supervision (Pastoral)
‘You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone.’ Exodus 18:18
In professional supervision, we work together to build trust and safety as we meet regularly to facilitate your reflection on your ministry, your relationships, and yourself in your specific context. This is to allow the Holy Spirit to transform the quality and integrity of your character, relationships, learning and ministry.
Supervision is person-centred - you decide what topics you bring to supervision. This may include (but is not limited to) difficult pastoral situations, challenging ministry team relationships, work and life balance, self-care, developing self-awareness, ethical issues, opportunities for learning and Christian maturity.

I have personally experienced the benefits of receiving pastoral supervision since 2009. I’ve found supervision to be a safe space to pause and reflect on the who, what, when, how and why of my ministry practice.

My Approach to Supervision is:

Reflective
-
How am I reacting to requests of me in ministry at present?
-
What would a different perspective bring to this situation for me?

Transformative
-
How can what I learnt from my reflection bring change to my ministry practice?
-
How does this insight encourage me to grow as a follower of Jesus and as I minister to others?

Supportive
-
What hope and encouragement is God speaking into my life?
-
What support do I need in my ministry and life to keep serving with integrity?
Mentoring
'Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.' Proverbs 1:5

Christian mentoring is a dynamic, intentional, trust-based partnership between a mentor and mentee, led by the Spirit to bring change in the mentee's life.

I offer personal, spiritual, and ministry mentoring, or a combination based on your needs.

I had my first Christian mentor when I was a teenager - what a gift she was to me. I learned what it was to follow Jesus, navigate growing as a young adult and what this looked like in the world around me.

I loved and benefited from it so much that I've kept seeking mentors for myself, and have mentored others for over 25 years.
Spiritual Formation Coaching
‘…so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God…’ Colossians 1:10
Spiritual Formation is the process of being formed into Christ for the sake of others.
M. Robert Mulholland, Invitation to a Journey 2016.
Spiritual Formation Coaching (SFC) is for those who want to be spurred on and refreshed in their journey of Christian transformation. I will take you through an assessment process to discern, with the Holy Spirit, your current season and stage of the Christian life.

Together we will develop a spiritual habits pathway to support your transformation in Christlikeness. And, each month we will learn and practice these habits, taking time to reflect, evaluate and adapt them to your deepening journey with Jesus.
