Why Slower Deeper Wiser?
We live in a fast-paced, 24/7 world. Our churches are no different, full of busy people, programs and more needs than we can ever meet.
In the noise and bustle of ministry, we can find it challenging to find time to reflect on our ministry and our relationship with God and others.
Slower Deeper Wiser seeks to serve God and His people by helping those on the front line of ministry
to set aside time to be still before God, to reflect with and listen to Him.
This is with the goal of deepening their lives with God to love and serve Him and His people in wiser ways.
About Me

I come to supervision and mentoring with a passion to see people in either paid or lay Christian ministry, growing in maturity and serving others in a reflective, self-aware, spiritually healthy way.
I have personally experienced the benefits of receiving ministry (or pastoral) supervision for the last ten years whilst working in local church and denominational ministries. With the help of my supervisor, it provided me with a safe, reflective space to look at my ministry and myself and partner with God in being transformed in both.
I have also been providing mentoring to women in ministry and nurses for over twenty years. I find it energising to work with those who are wanting to grow in their journey with God and in their skills and abilities in ministry.
Supervision and mentoring were so valuable for me that I started Slower Deeper Wiser in 2016.

Supervision
As a supervisor, I provide an opportunity for those in ministry to work with an qualified and experienced supervisor, who is external to their church or ministry. Together we will work to facilitate your reflection on your ministry, relationships and yourself in your context. This is with the purpose of allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the quality and integrity of your character, relationships, learning and ministry.

Spiritual Mentoring
Spiritual mentoring is for those who want to be spurred on and refreshed in their Christian life by walking with a mature Christian who shares and models a deepening Christian life. As a spiritual mentor, I seek to work with the Holy Spirit to facilitate the Christian growth and development of the mentee by sharing the experiences, insights, skills and resources that I have gained through the years of living and learning as a maturing follower of Jesus.

Ministry Mentoring
I have been in engaged in a variety of ministries (paid and unpaid) for over 15 years. The ministry mentoring that I offer is a one to one relationship where I commit to listen, equip, support, empower, challenge, encourage and accompany you as you work towards your ministry and personal goals.
